After maturation, beer still carries yeast cells, protein-polyphenol haze and residual solids. DE filtration removes them to the brightness your brand requires, ahead of the bright beer tank and packaging.

What brewers ask us about

The questions we get most often from Vietnamese brewers are practical:

  • Which grade combination gives the longest cycle at our haze load?
  • How do we cut filter aid consumption without losing brightness?
  • Why does differential pressure climb faster in some batches?
  • Can we reduce beer loss in the spent cake?

None of these have a universal answer. They depend on your yeast, your maturation regime, your filter type and your clarity target — which is why we start with your process data rather than a product list.

A note on alternatives

Crossflow membrane filtration has taken share in some breweries, and for certain operations it is the better answer. DE remains preferred where capital cost, flexibility across beer styles and proven process familiarity matter — and many breweries run both. We would rather tell you honestly where DE fits than sell you a filter aid you do not need.
